Welcome to Surrey Downs Kindergarten and Occasional Care

Surrey Downs Kindergarten oval

Surrey Downs Kindergarten and Occasional Care is a small community kindergarten that offers care and education for birth to five year olds. The grounds have just been upgraded and there is a large natural outdoor area.

Surrey Downs Kindergarten is situated in the suburb of Surrey Downs close to the Surrey Downs shopping centre. It is easily accessible by bus 543 and 543X that travels along Illyarrie Avenue. The Occasional Care service is held in the Community Centre behind the Kindergarten and accessed off of Zanoni Crescent.

Surrey Downs Kindergarten is next door to the Surrey Downs Community Child Care Centre and children are walked to and fro by staff enabling easy access to before and after session care if needed.

We are within walking distance of Surrey Downs R-7 Primary School and visits are made regularly to the Library, or other shared activities.

The Surrey Downs Community Children's Village is a partnership of the above facilities plus Family Day Care and the Community Centre. It has the core purpose of raising community awareness of neighbouring services, each supporting one another collaboratively and co-operatively with short and long term goals.
